The Tate selected Bert as its branding agency for a series of its exhibitions, celebrating artists including Turner, Warhol and Picasso.
We created the identity for each exhibition and delivered animated and video content for use on site and across display and small screens.
Our recent Tate Britain campaign for Van Gogh & Britain was even more painstaking than most. Using Co-Creation we developed a concept requiring the digital removal of each of Van Gogh’s original brush-strokes, effectively stripping the works back to canvas.
This process was then reversed to recreate Van Gogh’s iconic painterly style in rich animated form.
We created the name, strategy and brand identity for Hatch, a striking addition to Manchester’s thriving cultural scene.

Chicago and Birmingham UK based sales-i selected Bert as its partner for its new brand and website. The partnership is a prime example of how we help clients realise their digital marketing potential. Rather than accepting the request for a WordPress website, we recommended Hubspot, helping deliver a digital marketing platform and full automation system. The result is a new global identity and website capable of driving over 400 complex Hubspot marketing automations that now drive Sales-i’s lead generation.
We were commissioned by Essex based Clear Architects to help transform its brand and website.
We used Co-Creation to update Clear’s strategy, identity and create materials that reflect the studio’s commitment to creating stunning, high-end architecture that successfully balances function and form.
The BBC appointed us as its branding agency for the launch of its new online gaming platform and division.
Our naming team worked with the BBC’s in-house gaming team to create ‘Open Games’. We created a narrative that simplified the premise, explaining that Open Games connects the world’s leading games developers with some of the best loved media brands on the planet.
CoCreating from Media City, the narrative was brought to life in rich digital form. The animated logo, embodying the Open Games portal, creates a unique way for multiple brands to share the limelight on communications. The ‘O’ dynamically wraps around the content within, resulting in a new brand capable of pairing with globally recognised media brands including Match of the Day, Top Gear and The Octonauts.

With a new opening on the horizon, Federal approached us to help understand and amplify the magic of its original Northern Quarter store.
Always prepared to cover the hard yards, our strategy team had the unenviable task of consuming plates of halloumi & ‘shrooms and cheddar corn fritters (washed down with bottomless long-blacks) whilst chatting with Federal clientele.
The caffeine and warmth of the welcome helped us quickly uncover Federal’s formula. We then created a road-map and refreshed identity that’s taken a Manchester staple to even greater heights.
Put simply, Manchester isn’t Manchester without a morning trip to Federal. It’s the mecca of brunch spots, now attracting 40k Insta followers and queues of upto an hour (even on the drizzliest of days).

We created every aspect of the identity, crafting narrative, visual and experiences to capture the unique spirit of the Frog team.

We won the competitive pitch to become Cancer Research UK’s branding agency for a campaign aimed at accelerating the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer globally.

Our Re-Write Cancer campaign aims to alter cancer’s story, replacing uncertainty and fear with the confidence that a future free of cancer can be achieved for all within decades, if leading partners collaborate and concentrate resources effectively.
